Well, I had my surgery on Oct. 30th and it has been sore from the scar. Just in the last couple of days have I had some sharp pain in my back. I see the Dr. for my 8 week follow-up. So, we'll see what happens after that, I've been off of work ever since the surgery and I had to exhaust my leave, which I'm all out of now, so no paycheck, I'm just relying on my savings, I should be good for a while. Stay tuned.......

A new update..... I'm living here in Las Vegas working for the US Government at the airport, where I was on my feet all day, and that too made my back worse, so I saw a Dr. out here who referred me to a back Dr. which I saw today, and it looks like I finally will have to have surgury which should clear up this pain I have. Makes you wonder why all the Dr.'s I saw back in Buffalo couldn't do this. Will update on progress.

An Update!!!! My back pain has gone up and down. As of right now I am not taking any meds. All I am doing is home exercises/streches which is helping a little. Today my attorney finally called and settle they are willing to settle the case, whew! finally. I won't get a check for about 40 days, but just the fact that it's almost over, at least the legal stuff that is, I've come to the conclusion that the pain will never fully go away and probaly get worse as I get real older so that's why I'll probaly bank most of the settlement to use just in case, for Dr. expenses.

Today, my back is hurting pretty bad again, I took my pill and it doesn't seem to working this time and I ran out of the Icy-Hot patches which help a little bit more.

I made it through the weekend, I helped my Mom with her stand at the flea market but when I got home on Saturday my back was so painful. Hopefully this week will be good. I see my primary Dr. this week so I will tell him about the discogram and see what he say's.

It's Friday, 48 hours after the discogram and I'm still hurting a little bit. That was a painful process, they put an IV in my arm, then 3 anthesia and 3 shots for the dye, the dye found the pain spot. So now I have to wait until April 14th when I see the surgeon Dr. and he'll let me know what I have to do.

Two days and a wake up, is what we say in the Navy when our enlistment is almost up or when we're about to pull into our homeport after a long deployment. Well, now it's for when I have this discogram. Today my back is sooo painful I can't stand it. I stopped by the chyropractor this morning and one of the Dr.'s must be off because the waiting room was packed, and the line wasn't moving, so I told them I'd be back later this afternoon.

Today I had my Pre-test for the discogram. It mostly just envolved blood work, taking my blood pressure, and they asked me my medical history. It only took about a half an hour. So now next is the actual Discogram. I have to be there at 6am but the Discogram isn't until 8am I have to be there 2 hours before in case there's a cancellation, so the Dr. doesn't have to wait, so I have to wait instead, Whatever, I just want to get this over.
Today was also a bad day for my back I had to lay on the living room floor again because it was so bad.
So far it looks good for the insurance I gave them the no-fault insurance info and when they said if I had a backup (my own) insurance I told them about the HealthyNY insurance and they looked it up online and saw they were processing it and they said that would be good enough. So, whew! at least that's covered :) .

Well, good news, sort of, I got my pills. I had to pay for them out of pocket but, I only paid $49, they normally $102 but the pharmacy gave me a good discount for only $49 so I'm covered, and on March !st I will have Health Insurance from Community Blue through that Healthy NY plan, so I'm good to go there, now all I have to do is get rid of this back pain once and for all.

Again, my back is extremly painful today, I can't even bend over or just lean to the side, the left side hurts the center of my back very bad today. I took my pills and they didn't really do much this time, I have two left and no health insurance coverage yet and no-fault has denied everything. Those pills are $102 a 'script. So, don't know how I'm going to refill them.

Today I saw the insurance Dr. and told him about my pain, he said he'll make some suggestions to the insurance co., right now they cut me off completly so we'll see what happenes now, my pain is extremly painful now, when I lean forward my back hurts so much when I get half way I have to come back up 'cause it hurts so much.

I saw the chropractor and he gave me a patch that goes on my back for a few days to get rid of the pain, so far it hasn't worked. My pain has unbearable again on a scale of 1-10 it's at a 12 again. I called the pain management Dr. yesterday and they got back to me saying they have doen everything they could and that I would have to contact my Primary Dr. I think it's just 'cause they got a denial of claim from no-fault. So, now I have know one to go to and my pills are running low.

I got a call from the pain management Dr. saying they got a call from no-fault that they won't pay them anymore and that they contacted me back in August saying all benefits are cut off. I have not received anything from them until last week not even the report from their Dr., so the pain management office said I have to pay $300, I told her I wasn't working because I couldn't because I can't even sit for 15 min. because of this pain from an accident that wasn't even my fault, and I said how I was supposed to pay for it, and she said 'I don't know'. I told her if she could just foward it to my Attorney and she no that it wasn't my attorney's responiblty, that it was mine. So now I'm really getting screwed from something that wasn't even my fault. Now what?

It's Friday night and my back is extremily painful tonight, I haven't even been sitting just laying down watching TV and I took my pill and it's still painfull. I can't go to the Dr's because no-fault won't cover it, and if I get this insurance through healthyNY it won't start until March 1st. So, I don't know what to do about this pain.

Well, today I will finally be getting health insurance through 'healthyNY' through the state. I will probaly need it since I will be getting a discogram, which was finaly schuduled through the surgion Dr. that I've been seeing and since no fault will not probaly cover it, the cheap bastards they are :( . So that is set for March 6th and we'll have to see what happens with that whether I need surgery or not. Today I also had a back massage similar to chropractic, it helped a little but again like the other opions I've been doing doesn't get rid of the pain. I took the dog out for long walk tonight so between the walk and the massage I'm hoping I can at least get a whole night's sleep in for once, I either don't get to sleep 'till 3am or I get up at about 3 or 3:30am and don't go back to sleep till 7am for only a hour.

Well, the shot did not help much, the pain is still there, it's not as bad as it was on Tuesday, but still hurts. Today I just went to the Res. and to target with my Grandma and Mom, I just sat and walked around a little and when I got home my back was so bad I had to lay down for a couple of hours, So basically the pain is right back to where it was. So, Monday I will be calling the Dr. to let him know, as well as, the insurance co. to get my 'scripts going again through the no-fault, since they sent the pharmacy a denial of claim.

Today was bad, my back is probaly the worst it's been in awhile, I can't even sit for 10 min. without extreme pain. Last night I called the pain maneagement Dr. and he called a new 'script into the pharmacy and when I go to pick it up I find out the no-fault ins. co. sent them a denial of claim, so I had to pay out of pocket. I can't even get a $10 prescription covered, and not working makes it even harder. Wednesday I go for another x-ray guided epadorial shot two slots down my spine from where the first one was. So we'll see what happens there.

This past week was really bad. My back pain has been very painfull, Tuesday night I couldn't get to sleep until midnight because it was so painfull, the next night it again was painfull but I took a cyclobenzar pill and that made me drowsy and I ended up going to sleep at 8:30 and slept all night, the next morning I woke up a 8 and could not get out of bed for two hours because of my back.
On the case side, I met with my lawyer with my Dad on Tuesday and we went over everything, I parked on the street at a meter I put 2 hours worth of quarters in and when we got out there was a ticket on my windsheild, we were 8 minutes late, and they wonder why no one goes downtown to shop anymore, unbelievable. The next day I had to go back down again to talk to my lawyer about more stuff, this time though I parked in a ramp cause I knew it would be awhile, although it was 7 blocks away cause all the ramps close by were full.
I also saw the pain management dr. because there was a cancelation, and he is giving me another 'script for the pills I've been taking (tramdol) and set up an appointent for another set of shots in march. I am also trying to get a discgo-gram through another Dr. that would say more in depth of what wrong with my back and if I need surgery or not, it would also help my case too, so we'll see.

My back is still very painful, this weekend I was still getting up in the middle of the night because of my back, I'm actually getting used to it, although still a pain. My trial is coming up on Thursday and I meet with my lawyer Tuesday, so we'll see what happen's.

I've been seeing the chroipractor again, now for few times and my back is still in pain. Today, my shoulder is so painfull I can't do anything it's like numb almost and lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes. Even after taking my pills. Don't know what else to do here.

I saw the other surgeon and he too agree's I don't need surgery, but he said I need to do chriopractic and physical theripy. So I went back to my chriopractor and now am seeing him for now. The trial for my case is on the 20th. I'm hoping the jury will agree that my injury is serious and get some kind of settlement.

The 23rd I saw the surgen Dr.'s assistent and he still say's I don't need surgery, but what's worse is I asked him what to do about work since I can't sit for 8 hours a day at a desk and he said I should change career's, I was very upset especially after I just spent four years of college to get a degree in something I like and he say's I should change career's. I then asked him what I should do about the pain and he said 'I don't know' does't sound like a good Dr. to me. So, I see the other surgen, that I saw for a third opinion, on Jan. 3rd for new MRI's and I'll see what's new and hopefully get something to ease this pain a little more.

Just got off the phone with my lawyer and he talked to the judge and he thinks it should be up to a jury. So, now I have to go to court on Jan. 20th. and I see the Dr. this Thursday.

My back is still hurting very badly, the night before I woke up around 3am with a sharp pain in the middle of my back. My lawyer was supposed to meet with the judge yesterday to see if he can convince him that my injury is serious; the insurance co. say's it's not serious and they don't want to pay me any kind of settlement. My lawyer said he would call to let me know what happened, and as of noon today I still have not heard from him, I'm getting worried. However, if something ever happen's like this again(I hope not) I will not be going through my current firm, they are horrible at communicating with their client's.

Today, I saw a new surgeon Dr. for a third opion and he too say's I don't need surgeory, but he gave my some new prescriptions and a script for new MRI's to done and want's to see me Jan. 3rd. So, hopefully this will help.

Well, the last month or so have been very painfull. I went back to both Dr.'s(my primary and the pain management dr.) and they both have been giving me more pills. cyclobenzarpr which makes me droozy, bextra which does nothing so far, and endocet which helps a little but I have now run out of. As well as, the tramadol. Enough is enough, I've contacted my Aunt who is a nurse and she suggested getting a third opinion from a neorsurgeon that she say's is very good. So, I've made a appointment for Dec. 06. Right now if I have to have surgery then so be it. I'm sick of this, it's been over two years now. Today, my back is still hurting not like recently but hurts. So, we'll see what this new Dr. say's.

Today, I gain woke up with severe back pain, so I took my pill and ended up sleeping for three hours, However when I woke up my back was still hurting. I gave my employer my two week notice yesterday so maybe not working so much, sitting for 9 hours a day, will ease the severe pain I've been having lately.

For the last two nights now I have gotten hardly any sleep because of my back, mostly tossing and turning. My back was hurting last evening so I took my pill kinda late so that might be why I was up last night although I don't know if it help because my back still hurt. Tonight if it start to go the same I will probably take a couple of Tylenol PM or something.

Today I spent most of the day in bed again but this evening the dizzyiness slowly went away, although I'm still a little dizzy I'm much better, about 99%. So I should be able to go back to work, My back on the other hand is really hurting today even after I took my pill twice.

Yesterday, I went to my primary Dr. for a follow up about my Back and I told him the last 5 day I've had very serve back pain in my lower back. His assistent gave me a shot, Toradol 30 MG, and it helped for a couple of hours, then later that evening I got real sleepy and ended up going to bed at 8:30. The next morning I woke up a 6:00 and was very dizzy and had serve back pain, it took me an hour to get out of bed and when I was walking around I felt like I was going to fall. I couldn't even stand up to go to the bathroom I had to sit down for fear I was going to fall. I got a little better and attempted to go to work, but when I got on the thruway I was dizzy but was half way there so I still went. I was only at work for a half hour and decided I couldn't do it, other people there even said I didn't look good. So I went home and have been in bed all day. I mostly feel dizzy on and off and my face gets warm and my back still hurts. I tried calling my Dr. but every time I got a busy signal and then finally a machine saying he was closed for the day. Hopefully, Saturday will be better otherwise I'll probally have to go to the ER.

This morning I had very severe pain in my back while I was at a contract job. I wasn't even lifting anything just standing, however I took my pill and a few hours later it calm down. This is the 5th day so far that I've had this severe pain in the morning.

Well, the last 3 mornings I have woken up to some painful back pain. I haven't had any really painful back pain since May, just minor back ackes when I sit for any length of time. My Dr. say's the serve pain should be spaceing out more but I will still be getting so called flare ups. So I guess this is one of them. Hopefully the next one won't be for even longer now.

Well, I haven't had any severe pain until yesterday afternoon, I got a sharp pain in my lower back. It last several hours but went away after the pain pill I took. Today was just the usual pain nothing severe.

My back was hurting all day yesterday. I had to take my tramadol pills twice which helped calm down the severity for a couple of hours but then it came right back. I was up all night again last night and now this morning my back still hurts, I tried the electrical stimulator but this time that hasn't helped.

Well, my back has been moderate with still little pain the last few weeks until today. I woke up this morning and my back was so painful again, I counldn't even get out of bed right away. I took my pill and now just waiting for them to kick in. I don't know what else to do, I would like to go back in the reserves to help out but of course right now I'm not physically qualified, and I still can not find a job. I lost everything.

The last couple of weeks I haven't had any 'severe' pain until today. This morning I drove to work and got out of my car and opened the back door to get my tote bag out of the back seat and when I bent over just a little to get it I had a EXTREMELY painful ache in my mid back that felt like a nerve was being pinched hard. I took 2 tramadol and it eased it for a while. Then a couple of hours later I was sitting and I bent over just a little to tie my shoe and again had a EXTREMELY painful ache. I left work an hour early and went home and took 2 more tramadol and put the electrical stimulator on my mid and lower back where the pain is and seems to be helping a little.

Yesterday I have received the electrical stimulator thing for my back through Dr. Peer. I've used it last night and this morning so far, so I'll have to see how my back is today with it.

Well, this last week went ok, better than a couple of weeks ago. I still had pain, but I didn't have any severe pain like a couple of weeks ago. I've been taking two tramodos and Ibuprofen, as well as using biofreeze on my back in the morning. Hopefully this is a good start.

This weekend I pretty much just rested and my back was ok, still hurts but the severe pain was not there. The same for today, I started to get severe pain this morning but I took two pills and it went away for most of the day.

Yesterday was very painful, I had to come home from work and just lay down my back was hurting so bad. I call the Pain management Dr. and he is prescribing more tramadol and also Motrim and he will set me up with a electric stiminalator for my back. Today was painful but not like yesterday around evening time I took 2 tramadol, as recommended by the pain management Dr. yesterday, and that has help so far. Hopefully this weekend will be ok.

The weekend was pretty much a regular painful weekend. Yesterday was painful too, not as bad as Friday but still very uncomfortable. Today I have a printer install (contract) job and my data entry job so we'll see how my back holds up to that, and of course I'll be taking my pill with me just in case it gets severe.

Well this week I started a temp. data entry job on Tuesday and my back was "so so" after taking my pill and using biofreeze of course. On Wednesday though was a different story, it was painful. Thursday was the same, and Today, Friday, was very painful. I have very sharp pain in my mid back and lower back, and mid left side of my back. I've taken my pill two times today and it still hurts. We'll see what the weekend brings...

Last Monday and Tuesday I had severie pain in my lower-back(tailbone area). Also, Tuesday afternoon I received my shots for my mid-back that helped for a couple of days. The pain returned late Thursday and continued Friday as well as Saturday. So far Sunday it has been bothering me again. This last week I have not worked at all. Next week I have three interviews on Monday so far. Till then....
